Strapping Small Bundles | Square or Round

If you are strapping small bundles, you know it is often difficult to apply sufficient tension to your bundle. The footplate of most strapping tensioners is simply too large to place on your pack. Although the strap is tight upon tensioning, as soon as you remove the tensioning tool, this tension disappears.

With the Cordstrap strapping system, it is easy and quick to apply and retain high tension on your small bundles, whether they are square or round.

Strapping Small Square Bundles

Standard Cordstrap Tensioner

To strap small square packs, you can use the standard Cordstrap tensioners. These tools allow you to apply and retain maximum tension simply by butting the tool against the packs. With this method, you position the nose of the tool against your pack instead of placing the tool on top of your pack. Don’t feed the strap through the knife. Feed the strap only through the winch and hold the strap in your hand together with the handle. Now tension the strap as normal. When you have reached the desired tension, remove the tool sideways and cut the strap.
