At Cargo Restraint Systems, our mission is simple: to make the movement of goods across Australia safer, smarter, and fully compliant. As Cordstrap’s exclusive partner in Australia, we bring world-leading cargo protection products and solutions to local industries, backed by 60 years of global innovation and expertise.

Our story starts with our founder, Andre van Hoornaar. Born in Newcastle – Australia, Andre began his career with Cordstrap in 1998. He worked at Cordstrap’s headquarters in the Netherlands and later held leadership roles in the USA, China, and Southeast Asia. Andre developed deep expertise in cargo securing systems and witnessed firsthand how Cordstrap’s engineered cargo securing solutions were transforming logistics around the world. Motivated to bring this quality to Australia, he returned home and founded Cargo Restraint Systems Pty Ltd.

Established in 2015, we are proudly Australian-owned and operated. Our head office and main warehouse are based in Brisbane, QLD, with a second warehouse in Melbourne, VIC. This allows us to service our customers efficiently across the entire country.

Our team of cargo securing specialists supports businesses throughout Australia, Papua New Guinea, and the Pacific Islands. We deliver expert advice, world-class products, and tailored solutions that keep goods moving safely and compliantly—wherever they need to go.
